Subjects Taught
Second Grade

I earned my Bachelor Arts degree in Elementary Education with minors in Reading and Fine Arts at Southern Utah University.  I recently completed my Computer Literacy Endorsement through the University of Phoenix. I am a life long learner. I'm always taking classes to hone my skills as a teacher.

I began my teaching career in 1995.  I've previously taught 5th, 3rd, and 1st grade and was the Art/Technology specialist for the K-8 students at Tonopah Elementary/Middle School. In November 1212, I had the opportunity to return to the classroom. Second grade to be exact! I was and am ecstatic to be back in the classroom with my very own students.

I moved to Tonopah in 1980 with my husband, Paul, for a summer job managing the A-Bar-L Western Store. His father opened its doors in 1973. Paul's brother. John, bought the store in 1979,and in 1983 we bought it! We have raised our 4 children in Tonopah and we are enjoying being a part of our grandchildren growing up here in Tonopah.
